Counselling and Therapy in St Albans

(Within easy reach of Hatfield and Hemel Hempstead)

Does life feel like it's getting on top of you?
Could you benefit from a place to take some time-out?
... to explore your thoughts and feelings
... to get back on a front foot again
... to talk things through

My name is Sue Moore and I am a person-centred counsellor based in St Albans not far from Hatfield and Hemel Hempstead. I am committed to offering counselling and therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment within which you will be listened to, heard, accepted and valued for who you are.

It is a space where you can express your thoughts and feelings without the fear of being criticised and where you determine the pace and content for each session enabling you to explore and talk through whatever difficulties, problems or issues are impacting upon your life.

As a counsellor I have experience of helping clients work through a wide range of issues some of which include:

  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) issues
  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Childhood Abuse
  • Domestic Violence
  • Sexuality
  • Panic Attacks
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Redundancy
  • Depression
  • Addiction

I provide counselling and therapy for individuals over the age of 18 on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

My practice is on the first floor of The Albany Centre which is located in the heart of St Albans Town Centre, Hertfordshire. It is only 10 minutes' walk from both St Albans City and St Albans Abbey train stations and there is plenty of public parking.

I am within easy reach of Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, London Colney, Kings Langley, Abbots Langley, Radlett, Watford, Harpenden and Wheathampstead.

If you are considering seeing a counsellor and would like more information about the services I offer, or would like to arrange an initial appointment please email me or phone me on 07584 497447.

On Feel Good Friday (February 3rd) I am supporting the work of the Samaritans by donating £5 for every client I see during that week.
